The Seenery
R Davis Art
A glimpse into the range of Davis' work: sun-dappled florals and quiet woodland light, windswept coastal landscapes, intimate studies of faith and grace, and vivid fields under open sky. Across every subject, her brushwork moves fluidly between realism and a softer, more whimsical touch — each piece grounded in place, light, and a deeper sense of meaning.
About R Davis
R Davis, a Georgia native, inherited her love of painting from her mother. Over a 40-year career, her style has evolved from grounded realism to vibrant, whimsical interpretations of the world — and of her faith, which gives her work its depth and meaning. Fifteen years living in Europe shaped the global scenes that run through her paintings, and she brings a practiced command of color, texture, dimension, and storytelling to every piece.
Her art has been shown in small galleries internationally, broadcast on North African television, and featured on multiple CD covers. Recent exhibitions include Anderson Arts Center's Annual Juried Art Exhibit, The Illuminated Faith Juried Art Show in Greenville, the SC State Fair, and Crooked Creek Art League Juried Shows.
Gifted with the paintbrush — some would say anointed — Davis is known among family and friends just as much for her authenticity, strength of character, and kindness of heart.
